The first book is called "Book of Shadows". It follows the tale of a young woman named Morgan who discovers she's a 'blood witch', and the craziness that surely ensues. The magic and practices use all follow closely with wiccan and pagan practices, so it's relateable to those who are a little more advanced, and it's helpful to those who are newer. It shows you what to look for and how things are done, though you should take everything with a grain of salt.
